Building People First

OECC is a annual sponsor of the City of Detroit "Kids Fishing Derby" which is held each year in the heart of the city in Palmer Park. Children from all over the community are provided with fishing poles and bait, so that they can cast their lines in a natural pond filled with live fish that the kids can keep and take home when they catch them.
